Deposits & Cancellation
For single room bookings we require a credit / debit card number to confirm your booking. We take payment on checkout. If you need to cancel your booking, you must contact us 24 hours before your confirmed arrival date. We reserve the right to charge for the first night of the booking for no-shows or cancellations notified after 12 midday on the booked arrival date.

For block bookings of three or more rooms we require a 30% deposit per room. (for clarity, if you make a block booking then cancel some of the rooms you booked you will loose the deposit on the rooms that have been cancelled).

We may also ask for a 30% deposit on bookings for major events such as the V Festival or Olympic games.

Payment Methods

We can accept payment by cash, cheque or the credit/debit cards shown below on departure.

Arrival Times
Arrival and departure times are flexible. We recognise that both tourists and business travellers may wish to arrive at different times, and all we ask is that you can let us know an approximate arrival time, within an hour or so, by midday on your arrival date. Please also let us know if you are arriving late, as we are happy to prepare a snack to save you the trouble of finding somewhere to eat late at night.

Departure Times
We like our guests to leave by 11am on their day of departure, but later times are available by arrangement.

Breakfast Times
We prepare breakfast when you need it at any time of the morning as long as you let us know the day before.

Children & Pets
We do not  accept children under 10 years of age. If you would like to bring a baby who still sleeps in a cot with you, please call us on 01376 513 321 to discuss your requirements. We regret that pets are not permitted at The Grange Guest House.

Vegetarians & Vegans
We are happy to cater for both Vegetarians and Vegans

Smoking
The Grange Guest house is a timber frame listed building. In the event of a fire it would be totally destroyed. The Grange Guest House is non-smoking.

Guests who smoke in their rooms will be immediately checked out and charged for deep cleaning to remove any residual smell.

Miscellaneous
The Grange Guest house reserves the right to refuse admission and to cancel bookings subject to the same time requirements as for notifying cancellations. We also reserve the right to use the credit card details provided to confirm a booking to charge for excess cleaning, damage and leaving without settling the account.
